QuickSCAN Review # 1
We have been running QuickSCAN 1.1 for almost two months now and during this period the information already collected now allows us to make a number of interesting observations:
QuickSCAN Response Levels The total response to QuickSCAN now stands at near 250 completed returns giving a hit rate of over 75% for visitors to the site. We are also getting regular visitors adding to the database results on a daily basis.
Question 1: Which Value System Do You Favour Most? The completed QuickSCAN responses indicate that 34.6% favour HU Turquoise, 23.6% GT Yellow, 11.8% FS Green and 9.3% ER Orange. However, as will be seen from Questions 2 and 3 the 2nd Tier Values ( Yellow and Turquoise ) account for very small percentages in the real world, including the developed economies.
Question 2: Which Values System Dominates the Planet? There is a major shift here with 38% favouring ER Orange and a further 18.6% DQ Blue. These two values account for over 56% of the total and have to create an area of opportunity for spreading the values concept on a wider basis.
Question 3: Which Values System Describes the Most People? Again there is a shift with 31.6% favouring DQ Blue and 27.8% CP Red. Only 13.5% favour ER Orange. Again there is an opportunity to encourage a shift from CP Red to DQ Blue and on through ER Orange and beyond.
Question 4: Which Values Systems are Becoming Stronger? There is a clear indication that ER Orange 19.3%, FS Green 22.5% and GT Yellow 16.2% are in the ascendancy. These values systems allow for the growth of a wider worldview as well as starting the transition to 2nd Tier thinking.
Question 5: Which Values Systems are Becoming Weaker? There is a clear indication that CP Red 20.9%, BO Purple 20.4% and AN Beige 17.5% are the values systems in decline. It is interesting to note that as in the previous question DQ Blue is the link at around 13.0% between those values in decline and those in the ascendancy.
Question 6: This question looks at the Global Stability Index. There is a definite trend towards the transitional zone between danger and some stability. However, the overall perception of those completing QuickSCAN is that the world has quite some way to go in the area of relative safety and tends towards the more dangerous end of the spectrum.
General Comments In looking at the results this far there is little doubt that we are seeing significant and ever increasing change from 1st to 2nd Tier thinking. However, it is also clear that the bulk of the world population are still in the CP Red / DQ Blue zones and this is the real danger for the developed economies.
World trade and globalisation is an ER Orange concept with the more integral worldview coming from GT Yellow. If we are to bridge the gap then the overall benefits of globalisation has to reflect to the benefit of the smaller developing as well as the larger developed economies.
